a) They created the best show on the planet. b) Now, with Legend of Korra, they’re (hopefully) gonna make up for all the lost Zutara with Makorra.
I mean, think about it. Mako. Zuko. Both end with k and o and are both moody firebenders. Korra starts with a k like Katara and is a waterbender.

They obviously know how to bend in a fight that’s the style of a pro-bending match, but they might not actually be Masters of their elements. I mean, is it canon they’re orphans? If they’ve been street rats their whole lives, they probably were never properly trained.

I mean, I dunno about you, but personally I’m probably just going to be like “Zuko. That sound just like Zuko. Yeah that’s fucking Zuko.”
He has a really distinctive voice, and I just associate it REALLY strongly with one character at this...

Tonraq and Senna, Korra’s parents, met each other when they were both being taught waterbending by Katara.
I actually like the idea that it Was Kya who taught them both. Tying Kya kinda into the plot, cuz i want more her and bumi.

So Korra
I watched the first two episodes friday night, they were up at 1134pm. It was pretty fucking amazing me and friend enjoyed the shit out of it. we were also drunk on delicious wine. We’re classy as fuck. the episodes were amazing. even more amazing while drunk.
